Tom Brady just won his seventh Super Bowl and his fifth Super Bowl MVP, then signed a contract extension until the 2022 season.
With the Buccaneers bringing back 22 offensive and defenders, they keep the champions window open for as long as possible.
Brady turned 44 in June and repeatedly said he wanted to play until he was at least 45, but even after completing seven bands, he showed no signs of slowing down. During the interview Good morning america Brady said he doesn’t need to try to prove anything.
“I still want to play,” Brady told Michael Strahan, “just like I have a little sickness in me that still wants to throw a weird twist, you know what I mean? Also, with regards to football, once you stop, you can never go back.
“I have more football in me. Not much and i know But whatever I have left, I will give everything I have. ”
After what happened in 2020, there is no reason to believe Brady could not propel the Buccaneers into another 2021 championship season.
