Trader Joe’s is the newest business to offer incentives for workers to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

A grocery chain in Monrovia, California, said Thursday it would pay employees two hours per vaccination session and would change schedules to ensure employees have time to vaccinate.

Instacart, an online grocery delivery company, announced Thursday that it would begin paying workers $ 25 to compensate them for taking the COVID-19 vaccine.

The San Francisco-headquartered company, which has about 500,000 employees who shop to fill and send orders from more than 40,000 stores, said it would begin sponsoring the vaccine on Feb. 1 to employees who Eligible because the vaccination program has been launched across the US and Canada.

In-store buyers, full-service shoppers and shift supervisors are among those eligible for Instacart vaccine pay.

Dollar General, which operates nearly 17,000 stores in 46 states, said on Wednesday it would pay employees equivalent to four hours’ wages if they were vaccinated.
