Self-driving medical tests are taking place this weekend for NFL prospects and nearly 150 prospective drafts have been examined and scanned in Indianapolis ahead of draft in the day. April 29
No one joined them, though No. 1 picked Clemson defender Trevor Lawrence underwent surgery in February to repair a torn lab in his left shoulder, so while it seemed strange he had missed the examination. Medically able to reveal how the shoulder was repaired by surgery, he had a very good reason for not being, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, he is marrying his girlfriend Marissa Mowry. Of him this weekend
Lawrence and Mowry have been involved since July 2020 when he offered her to the pitch at Clemson̵7;s Memorial Stadium.
It’s a little uncommon that choosing a popular body with a shoulder for treatment completely lacks these medical tests. But Lawrence had nothing to lose or gain from missing out. He’s the # 1 consensus and marriage instead of MRI will not change that. Will the Jacksonville Jaguars skip a potential franchise defender from their draft list because he decides to tie the knot? Even if that felt like something the Jaguars had to do. But they would not do so.
Congratulations and best wishes to Trevor and Marissa, spending Saturdays marrying the love of your life sounds more fun than exercising with 150 colleagues.
